William R. Cornelius
Bill has extensive experience in investment banking, principal investing, commercial banking, and business operations. He has successfully executed private company mergers and acquisitions, sourced and provided debt and equity capital, and managed troubled company restructurings and bankruptcies.
His personal experience in buying, operating, and then selling his own business provides a perspective that clients appreciate and value. He has advised clients, ranging from $10 million to $20 billion in revenue, across many industries and geographies.
Prior to joining Crutchfield Capital, Bill held leadership positions (including CEO, CFO, and board member) of several companies. He also served in various capacities at The Boston Consulting Group, Highland Capital, and Amegy Bank.
A native Houstonian, Bill is active in the community and serves as a board member of Open Door Mission and Seven Mile Road Houston. He previously served as a board member of Camp for All. Bill is the co-founder of the Duke MBA Alumni Club – Houston.
Bill holds a B.B.A. in Finance from Baylor University and an M.B.A. from Duke University, where he graduated as a Fuqua Scholar. He is the President of the Houston Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth. Additionally, Bill is a member of the National Association for Corporate Directors and is licensed with FINRA as a General Securities Representative.
